Hello everyone. I hope this finds you in an excellent place! I have a couple of things to tell you. first off, as some of you already know, Sean has left The Complex. He has commitments elsewhere and we wish him much success in his new endeavor. I have known from the start that at some point he would be leaving to join the band he was contracted to. We don't believe in contracts in The Complex. We believe in the power of music to seal the deal. I'm sure we will work together at some point in the future and I am glad that Sean is keeping his word and fulfilling his obligation( a rare thing in L.A. these days!) . On a more positive note . THE COMPLEX IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THE ADDITION OF GANNIN ARNOLD TO THE BAND!!!!!!!!!! Gannin is somewhat of a jazz rock legend in these parts. He has played with some of my favorite drummers ( Dave Weckyl, Vinnie Coliuata !) . Gannin will bring his energy, good looks and blazing chops into our world and yours in the coming months. We have been rehearsing our butts off lately and I think everyone is going to be pleasantly surprised when they see the show. I hope to see you all soon! JC

Hello Complex People, I hope this finds all of you well! Things have been great on our end. The Complex recorded live at Sony Studios for Sony Connect and it was a blast! The Band played so well! It was truly rocking! We did Live versions of Streetcrawler , Loki Cat, Love is Real , Owed to Darryl , Time Shift , and Newerwaves. you will be able to check them out at Sony Connect online in the not too distant future. I will let you know when they become available. We have also been writing new material with the next record in mind. Writing is so therapeutic for me. It makes everything else disappear for awhile. Kind of like the sound of heavy rain........

Spring is springing and things are starting to heat up for us. April 3rd is the start of our west coast run which will take us up the coast from San Diego to Vancouver. Then a week or so off and off to conquer the rest of America! It looks like we will be touring the States for most of April and May so keep your eyes peeled. This Summer we are still planning to go to Europe, Japan and Australia.

The band continues to get great reviews! It's amazing! The next step is to get The Complex on the radio. Call your local stations and request The Complex! Don't take no for an answer. The world needs us!

That's about it for now. Thanks to all of you for your Love and support. I carry it with me wherever I go! Take care and I will see you soon!

Hello from the Complex! Today goes into the books as one of the happiest days in my life. Yes, it is finally here. THE RECORD IS OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so stoked and so proud of everyone involved! It seems hard to believe that just seven months ago Mohler and I were standing in a room looking at each other and scratching our heads, wondering what this record was going to sound like. It was just the two of us in that room writing, but we never felt like we were alone. What went on to become "Life Begins Again" was the product of Love, Respect and Devotion to music.

All along, I felt like the entire universe had our back. That this, was exactly what I was supposed to be doing! I can't tell you what a powerful feeling that is. To have a vision of something so pure and to watch it come to life before your very eyes and ears. From the very first note, all doubt was removed from my heart and it was smooth musical sailing. "Never in my life, have I felt so right!" Those words have never rang truer for me. I felt the presence of each and every honest heart and it surrounded me with love and hope. To be a working part of the Universe is the point of Life. To let Nature resonate through your soul is the Path of Life. And the Music, for me, is the Gift of Life!

I'd like to thank everyone in the world who is pure. I thank God. I thank my bandmates for embarking on this journey with me. They are truly magnificent! I thank Sanctuary Records, truly a sanctuary for art. I thank my best friend Billy Corgan, who is such a huge part of this record. Not only the beautiful vocal on "Loki Cat," but for being such an inspiration to me. He has shown me so much love and respect. He has truly made me a better person. He has shown me the light inside of myself that sometimes, only he could see. He has led me to the gift that was always there waiting for me. I love him so! I thank my beautiful wife Lori and my little Butterbean,
Audreyella. They have shown me what is truly important. LOVE. And I thank you, for supporting me through the years. You are a part of every single note!
NOW WE ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JC

Hello from The Complex. First, I'd like to wish everyone a great holiday and super great 2005!!!! If you're reading this you've already seen the new super-cool website. We are so excited to have a place to hang, a place to read your thoughts, wishes and criticisms...well at least the first two. I must say it is nice to hear someone,( besides myself ), talking about The Complex for a change!

Okay! so what's going on? Well, a lot! We've been pretty swamped with the record coming out, rehearsing for the tour, doing interviews. It's been pretty hectic! I must say though, the interview process has been pretty painless. Aside from the occasional question, "how did you guys ever come up with the name 'Smashing Pumpkins,'" it's been smooth-sailing. I am actually enjoying talking about the music. I always have something new to say about it because it is forever changing in my head. I don't feel like a broken record.............yet.

And the response to the music has been incredible. The world, it seems, is ready to embrace the Complex Vibe! I am amazed at the scope of people who are into the music. Mothers, Fathers , Sisters , Brothers, Mean Uncles, Half-Brothers, Cousins, Clerks, Jerks, Doctors, Poets, Psychics, Veterinarians, you name it. It's really a testament to the power of honest music. People will respond , deep down in their being, to music that is truthful. It really is the oldest form of communication. (after UG!!!) ha ha ha

All kidding aside, this has been an incredible journey thus far, and it looks to be shaping up to be one heck of a musical ride. It has been a long time since I've been this excited about music. And I can tell you truthfully, it is all possible with love. The love around you, grows from the love inside of you. Take care of your own heart and and you will feel the beat of others. Listen carefully to what it says to you. It is the most important message you will ever receive!

Have a great holiday and we will see you next year. Jimmy

Greetings from The Complex. I just wanted to give you a quick update as to what's going on in our plane of existence. I am still reeling a bit from the election. It really pains me to see this great country so divided. Is it possible that we are really so different from one another? Is Wal-mart that far away from the library? It really seems like two completely different countries. Are the republicans really that frightened of terrorism? Do they hide in their mansions watching Fox all day? Are the Democrats really that wishy-washy? Where is their backbone? Where are the great ideas? Are war and lies all we can seem to muster up? Do politicians read history books? Don't they see the cycle? Remember, “divided, we fall "! Humanity seems doomed to endure this historical recidivism. When will we learn that only love and compassion will make the world a better place. That hating and destroying is no way to spend a lifetime.

OK, so what's going on? Well let's see now. We finally have a solid release date! January 25th will mark the release of "Life Begins Again” the first (of many we hope!) FULL LENGTH CD FROM THE JIMMY CHAMBERLIN COMPLEX. I can't tell you how excited we are. To see all of our hard work come to fruition is pretty special. Although, waiting around is about as exciting as watching paint dry! I am pretty sure you will be able to pre-order the cd at Musictoday. We have also decided to do an enhanced CD as opposed to a stand alone DVD. It will contain everything that was to go on the DVD; it will now be on the same disc. Ah, progress! Saves space, saves money, and is good for the environment.

I am told that the Website will be undergoing a major overhaul. This will include a juke box with songs that The Complex has been listening to as well as demos new ideas and the like. Once the record is released, I am going to put up some alternate versions of the songs. I think this will give you a clearer picture of how the music evolves and grows over time. Also, how, what starts off as the simplest idea can be turned in to a great song. We just started rehearsing last week and the band is sounding great! I will be posting tour dates very soon. Come January, The Complex will be a touring machine! I can't wait!
